A sergeant in the Army Air Corps, Harry R. Boniker stands back to admire his plane, City of Pittsburgh. Boniker wrote to his parents saying, "This is my speacial jet; I wonder why? Big plane, eh folks? This is only a small part of it." He served in China, India-Burma, and Japan. This image is located on west column F of the memorial.
