At a concentration camp in Ebensee, Austria, prisoners were beyond emaciated as they were starving. This camp was used for "scientific experiments." The Ebensee concentration camp was liberated by the 80th Infantry Division on May 7, 1945. This image is one of the large photographs located on th east wall of the memorial.
